Oct. 27, 2009 at her residence. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1979 and worked for McDonalds for over 10 years. She enjoyed crafts, writing, and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gene and Ruth Stanforth and Ulyess and Maudie Hamm. She is survived by two sons Derrick Mellott of Cincinnati (fiancée Tiffany Bur) and Clifford "C.J." Mellott of Waynesville, daughter Tiffanie Mellott of Dayton (fiancée Brad Doyle), two grandchildren Brody and Halie, her mother Janie Hamm of Wilmington, her father Charles Hamm of TN, one brother Bret (Beth) Hamm of TN, one sister Terri (Rob) Camp of Wilmington, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 1 PM Mon. Nov. 2 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Sun. at the funeral home.
