A 50 year resident of Waynesville, she attended the Waynesville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, flower gardening, cake decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Talmadge and Laura Chitwood; three brothers Eddie, Jack, and Herbert Chitwood; and three sisters Georgia House, Woody Lahm, and Marie McBeath. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Jiles Farley, Sally and Kenny McCloud, and Susan and Danny McCloud all of Waynesville; eight grandchildren Cathy (Grafton) Bowersox of Waynesville, Michael (Katie) Farley of GA, Kristie Schram of Waynesville, Kaylie McCloud of Waynesville, Regina (Michael) Kelley of SC, Rebecca (James) Hale of Cincinnati, and Renee and John McCloud both of Waynesville; four great grandchildren Austin, Gabriel, Peyton, and Jade; one brother M.C. Chitwood of KY; and one sister and brother-in-law Almeda and Louie New of KY. Funeral services 11 AM Tues. Nov. 10 at the Waynesville First Baptist Church. Pastor Terry McBeath officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Mon. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family.
