He was such a nice man. I loved his "welcoming" wave when I was heading home from work, and he was filling his water truck. It's been so many years ago, but I still think of him when I drive into North on Rt 42 into Waynesville.

My mind goes back to the old Harveysburg church with Uncle John Lamb as Pastor. You couldn't keep Uncle Charlie down during a church service. He was always looking for a chance to praise the Lord and be a part of the what was going on! Ohhh how we need more of that today. Uncle Charlie was never an observer. I remember he used to stand Josh on top of that white baby grand piano and even at such a young age, the Lord used Josh. I'll never forget Uncle Charlie...he's been a source of encouragement to me over the years and to so many others. Our loss is truly Heaven's gain...
