He was also preceded in death by his son, that left us far too soon at age 26, Craig Allen Zink and his two sisters- Patricia Roth and Virginia Panfile. David was a loving and proud father to his surviving children: Jacquelyn (Lynn) Millikin, Constance (Michael) Coffman, Susie (Marcus) Rice, Jeff (Norma) Brown, Dennis (Elna) Brown. David was a ship fitter 3rd class and received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal and a Philippine Liberation Ribbon for his efforts for his beloved country. He retired from NCR of Dayton and loved living in different cities. His biggest joy of life was spending time with his family. He loved all of his children and grandchildren with his whole heart. He loved reading and baseball, helping his wife with her arts and painting, and enjoyed his hobby as an amateur jeweler and he will be greatly missed. “Your wings were ready but our hearts were not.” “We were so lucky to have something so great that makes saying goodbye so hard.” David (4-30-17) RIP with all the love your heart can hold.
