Harold "Ed" Walker

WALKER, Harold "Ed" age 83, of Waynesville, passed away Fri. March 3, 2017. Ed graduated from Springboro High School, class of '51. He was a Korean Conflict Navy veteran and a member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. He was also a past Master of The Waynesville Masonic Lodge #163. He retired from NCR after several years of service and retired a second time in 1998 from Frazer Paper Products. A jack of all trades, he greatly enjoyed woodworking and outdoor activities- especially gardening and mowing his lawn. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Nellie Walker and one sister Betty Steele. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mabel; son Steve (Debbie) Walker; daughter Debbie (Chuck) Hendrickson; step son Allen Wisecup; step daughter Sheila (Howard) Lanier; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one brother Tom Walker; and two sisters Francis Hagwood and Patricia (Dan) Arno. Funeral services 1 PM Thurs. March 9 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends Noon - 1 PM Thurs. at the funeral home.
