Kathleen Marie Brown

June 8, 1934 - December 26, 2019

BROWN, Kathleen Marie, age 85, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. Kathleen graduated from Beckley High School in West Virginia, class of ’53. She worked for Quaker Heights Care Community for more than 25 years. She was a supportive and dedicated preacher’s wife for 22 years at the Pentecostal Temple Holiness Church in South Lebanon and a current member of the Free Holiness Church of God in Sharonville, where her son Rev. Randell Brown currently pastors. She greatly enjoyed camping and would frequently camp at Cowan Lake. Once a year, she and her husband would travel to Largo, FL and go camping at a church camp. In her spare time, you could find Kathleen and her daughter-in-law, Carol, out shopping until they dropped. She had a large selection of items she collected, from knickknacks to dolls. Kathleen was a dreamer, she loved to plan things that she knew may never come true. You could always catch her working on her word search puzzle books. She loved her sweets, regardless of what kind of food or candy. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening and taking care of the many plants she had, especially her rose bushes. She was also known for being a story teller. Among many things, she will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert Brown in 2014; one son Rodney Dean Brown; parents Raymond and Maude Mann; one brother Paul Mann; two sisters Virginia and Lillian Mann; and one foster sister Mary Brown. She is survived by two sons Raymond (Debbie) Brown and Rev. Randell (Wendy) Brown; daughter-in-law Carol Brown; seven grandchildren Raymond Brown II, Renette Brown, Jeremy (Adrian) Brown, Kyle Brown, Rev. Ryan (Rebecca) Brown, Dustin Brown, and Maranda Brown; six great grandchildren Olyvia, Isaiah, Benjamin, Kaiden, Kennedy, and Brooklyn; and one foster brother Herman Minnick. Funeral services 11 AM Tues. Dec. 31 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Rev. Brian Smith and Rev. Ryan Brown will be officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5 - 9 PM Mon. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the building fund of the Free Holiness Church of God in Sharonville. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
