Kenneth W. Bradley

BRADLEY, Kenneth W. age 88, of Waynesville, passed away Thurs. March 3, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. Kenny left high school to enter the Merchant Marines, then returned and finished his senior year and graduated with the Waynesville HS Class of 1945. Upon graduation, he entered the U.S. Army and became a WWII veteran. He retired from NCR after more than 30 years of service and was co-owner of B&B Carryout in Waynesville. He was a member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615, co-founder of the Waynesville Athletic Boosters, and member of the Wayne Local Athletic Hall of Fame. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Anna in Sept. 2015; three great grandchildren Liam, Heath, and Amelia; his parents Charlie and Imo Bradley; and one brother Dick Bradley. He is survived by one son Bo (Gail) Bradley; two daughters Connie (Lonnie) Schear and Barbara (Gus) Edwards; seven grandchildren Anna (Tony) Garafolo, Nikki Pollack, Lonnie David (Megan) Schear, Jerrod (Margie) Bradley, Jason (Jen) Bradley, Joe (Jessica) Bradley, and Randy (Blair) Robbins; 13 great grandchildren; one brother Jerry (Peggy) Bradley; and one sister Caroline (Jimmy) Purkey. Funeral services 11 AM Tues. March 8 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5 - 8 PM Mon. at the funeral home.
