Loranzo Q. Neace

NEACE, Loranzo Q., age 90, of Waynesville, passed away Fri. July 12, 2019 at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville. Loranzo served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for gallantry in action under enemy fire. He had a love for his country and was very patriotic. He retired from GM – Frigidaire in 1978 after 31 years of service. He was a member of the IUE Local 801 Union. He greatly enjoyed going to Caesar’s Creek Flea Market, fishing at the falls near the dam at Caesar’s Creek Lake, playing his guitar, and playing Santa Clause at nursing homes. In his later years, he could always be found watching his favorite westerns on the television. He was extremely outgoing and didn’t know a stranger. He had a passion for the Lord and always made sure that his family felt that same kind of faith. Among the many things, he will be remembered for the rings he crafted out of $2.00 bills. He was preceded in death by his son Quentin Eugene Neace; parents Roy and Jaley Neace; one brother William Neace; and two sisters Lucy Bell and Susie Brannon. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruby; four sons Mark Anthony Neace, David (Paula) Neace, Robert Neace, and Edwin Joe Neace; four daughters Donna (Edward) Bellman, Veronica (Danny) Vipperman, Melissa Neace (James Landrum), and Michele (Daniel) Marciniak; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three brothers Lawrence Neace, John Neace, and Lee (Bea) Neace; and two sisters Lillian Willard and Janice Neace. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thurs., July 18 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
