Paul Palmer

PALMER, Paul L. age 85 of Waynesville passed away Tues. Nov. 3, 2009. Paul was a WWII Army veteran. He worked at NCR for 28 years and retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton after 10 years of service. He was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church and an active participant in the Pat's Place coffee crew. He enjoyed mowing and spending time with his family. He was also a collector of turtles, frogs, and hats. He was preceded in death by his daughter Glenna Lynn Palmer, his parents J. T. and Edna Palmer, and two brothers Ed and Leland Dale "Cobb" Palmer. He is survived by his two sons Michael L. (Alisa) Palmer of Centerville and Paul Douglas Palmer of Xenia; four grandchildren Melissa Palmer, Stefanie Palmer, Michelle Palmer, and Michael L. Palmer Jr.; two great grandchildren Cedar and Solan; three brothers Pete, James, and Dean Palmer; and four sisters Anna Graham, Geneva Snider, Effie Behm, and Ilena Palmer. Funeral services 10:30 AM Sat. Nov. 7 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Fri. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice.
