Quentin Ray Wisby

WISBY, Quentin Ray, 67, of Maineville, OH, formerly of Georgetown, OH passed away at his home the morning of April 18, 2016 at the age of 67. He was an educator for thirty-five years. Ray taught mathematics at Western Brown High School, then later served as Principal before retiring in 2007. Ray was a life-long Reds fan and enjoyed golf and traveling. He was a loving and devoted husband, a beloved father and adored grandfather. He was an Elder at Grace Presbyterian Church and a devoted member of Sycamore Presbyterian Church. Ray is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon Napier Wisby; their three daughters: Jenny (Paul) Weaver, Jacqueline (Harry)Amann, Melissa (David) Cabrera; his six grandchildren: Audrey, Evelyn, Elijah, Kelsey, Gabriella, and Caroline; his mother-in-law, Joann Napier; his sister-in-law, Karen (Doug) Rasey; his brothers Charles Utter and Jon Wisby; and many treasured friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Idella Bauer, his father-in-law, Vernon Napier, and his brother-in-law, James Napier. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Sycamore Presbyterian Church (11800 Mason Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249), with visitation immediately preceding from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Sycamore Presbyterian Church. A private interment service for close friends and family will be held at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, Ohio. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family.
