Rush W. Wical

August 30, 1930 - July 24, 2017

WICAL, Rush W. age 86, of Waynesville, passed away Mon. July 24, 2017 at Hospice of Butler/Warren County. Rush was born Aug. 30, 1930 to James H. and L. Vaden (née Wade) Wical. He was a Korean Conflict Army veteran and operated R.W. Wical Plumbing for 30 years. In addition to his plumbing business, he also worked in agriculture and livestock for many years. Rush was a lifetime member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. He was also a past Commander of the Lebanon American Legion Post 186 and member of the Harveysburg VFW #1646. A hard working man that was always willing to help someone regardless of the time of day or night. Described as having a unique personality, he was quite the story teller and could get to know someone quickly. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother George Wical, and two sisters Ruth Worthington and Betty Schlater. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce; three children Cindy Kilburn, Ronald Wical, and Karen Wical; three grandchildren Carly Hogan, Beth (Mark) Kolb, and Randy (Tracey) Wical; and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services 12:30 PM Mon. July 31 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be at the Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Mon. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Wayne Township EMS 6050 N. Clarksville Rd.
