To the O'Neal family: I was so shocked and deeply saddened when Heather called to say that Cindi had died. I knew Cindi for 20 years and I saw an astute businesswoman, yet a caring and compassionate person. She was hard-working and loved her work. In fact, all of the qualities that philosophers and theologians have identified as good, I saw in her. She was one of the finest people that I have ever been privileged to know. She will be ever on my mind and in my heart.

I was so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. She was one of the first people I met after moving to Dayton - we had just gotten Charley and I was a very nervous "mommy" entrusting her baby to a stranger. But Cyndi assured me she would take good care of him and that she did - he really did love her! I will always remember that whenever I came by to pick him up, no matter how stressful her day was, your Mom was always smiling and cheerful - even the day Charley was mistaken for someone else and went to another groomer and she thought I would be so angry! He ended up looking like an "Extreme Makeover" participant, but still came out cute nonetheless! I'll be remembering her in my prayers...
