Rev. Acy W. Lamb's Obituary
LAMB, Rev. Acy W., age 74, of Corwin, passed away Fri. Nov. 27, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. Acy was a Vietnam Army veteran and retired from the Warren County Water Department. Lifelong member of the Corwin Pentecostal church, he faithfully served God and the church in various aspects for over 50 years, most recently as pastor of the church. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, collecting knives, traveling, and spending time with his family, friends, and church. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Acy and Blanche Lamb; three brothers Sutton Lamb, Rev. Walter Lamb, and Anthony Lamb; and three sisters Lucille Henry, Velma Lamb, and Effie Patton. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ellen; daughter Jennifer Tracy (John Campbell); son Rev. Acy Wendal (Crystal) Lamb; five grandchildren Lindsay (Brad) Lehman, Tyler Tracy (fiancée Kylie Wisecup, Acy Wendal Scott Lamb (fiancée Matty Asbury), Courtney Lamb, and Thomas Lamb; two great grandchildren Bailee Lehman and Tucker Lehman; one brother John W. (Bonnie) Lamb; and two sisters Marilyn (Gene) Thompson and Ramona (John) Sackett. Funeral services 1 PM Thurs. Dec. 3 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Rev. Mike Allen, Rev. Phillip Hoskins, and Rev. Don Ingram will be officiating. Burial will be Miami Cemetery in Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Wed. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
