My wife, older daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting Alan in 2014 through Chase. What began as a conversation on the phone evolved into a friendship and what we consider our very close framily. Alan was positive, genuine, caring, optimistic and so very generous. His professionalism always impressed us and his soul gave us comfort to follow his lead. We have moved around the country and traveled around the world, and we have served many folks in our own professions; but we have not met a better man than Alan. His tone and demeanour instilled calm and reassurance in us in uncertain times. As we moved across the country and back to Ohio, we were so excited to see Alan again. We could not wait to introduce him to our second daughter that we had while we were away from home. Sadly, I knew something was very wrong when he did not answer my email or my voicemails. When I heard of his death, I bawled and was devastated. Why do bad things happen to good people? I deal with death every day, and he never once complained to me about any health issue he had even though I am a doctor. Not once did he complain about anything. He went out of his way to care for us. We put our loyalty and money into Chase because of Alan. He knew all by name and went the extra mile. He is a special man taken quite too early. I feel awful, sad and heartbroken for his family and friends. From what little we knew of him, he connected as a beacon of light to my wife and me. As he always did on this mortal earth, he will always continue to look out for us from heaven with God and welcome us to eternity and serenity when it is our time. Rest in peace Alan Pritchett. We love you.
