Alena McCurry's Obituary
McCURRY, Alena (Crider), age 90, passed away Fri., Nov. 27, 2015 at Hospice of Butler/Warren County. Alena was born in Ages, KY, July 30, 1925. She lived in Oregonia for the past 66 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lowell Wayne McCurry; her father & mother, Rev. Newton & Cora Crider; four brothers, Luster, A.J., William, and C.H.; two sisters, Roberta Neff & Shirley White; and one grandson, Richie McCurry. She will be greatly missed, but tenderly remembered by two sons, Richard Ray McCurry & Donald Eugene (Sherry) McCurry of Oregonia; two brothers, Robert (Lupe) Crider of Del Rio, TX & Charles David Crider of Panama City, FL; three sisters, Della (Jack) Ward, Mary (Robert) Hendrix of Pensacola, FL, & Barbara (Roy) Rosetta of Nederland, TX; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Funeral services 10:30 AM Thurs. Dec. 3 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Orville Robinson will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wed. at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Hospice of Butler/Warren County for their wonderful care of Alena.
