She found great joy in serving through her church, participating in the Chancel choir, the bell choir, and Bible studies. As a dedicated member of the United Methodist Women’s group, she loved sewing school bags, baking and preparing for fundraisers, and taking part in mission work, including a memorable trip to the McCurdy School in New Mexico.
Alice was a devoted Christian whose faith was the foundation of her life. She prayed daily and lived her beliefs through her kindness, generosity, and service to others. She was an avid quilter and seamstress, lovingly creating quilts for her children and grandchildren that will be treasured for generations. She enjoyed traveling with her siblings and children, often exploring new places together and making lasting memories. Alice cherished her many family reunions and truly valued any time spent surrounded by her loved ones. She also had a fondness for sending and receiving greeting cards, a reflection of her appreciation for meaningful relationships. Alice will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her servant’s heart, and the love and care she poured into her family and community.
