Amy L. Isaacs' Obituary
ISAACS, Amy L., age 60, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023. She was born May 29, 1962, to Mark and Novella Lieurance in Delaware, Ohio, but grew up in Sunbury, Ohio.
Amy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. She worked approximately five years for Luxottica in Cincinnati and then worked nearly 20 years for the Avenue store, serving as the store manager for many of those years. In the past few years, she was employed by UC Health as a human resources systems manager. She was a 30-year member of the Liberty Heights Church (formerly Northside Baptist) in Lebanon, where she enjoyed singing in the praise band. In addition, she was a member of the Knitters Guild.
Loving, caring, giving, and family-oriented, Amy was often quiet but not shy. She had strength in her spirit and never hesitated to offer support or help to others. She was artistic and creative and greatly enjoyed knitting, sewing, crafts, and baking. She especially enjoyed using her creativity for baking eloquently designed cakes. Being family-oriented, Amy loved the holidays when the family got together. She especially enjoyed getting together with the ladies of the family the day after Thanksgiving to make cookies, which became one of her most fond traditions. Her daughter was her greatest pride and joy, who she adored. She will be remembered for her love of tulips and her vast yarn collection, ensuring she had the right color for her next knitting project.
Amy was preceded in death by her dad, Mark Lieurance. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John; her daughter and son-in-law, Laura Grace (Troy) Coates; her mom, Novella Lieurance; and two brothers, John (Jennifer) Lieurance and Paul (Margi) Lieurance.
The family will receive friends 4 - 6 PM Wednesday, April 26, at the Liberty Heights Church in Lebanon. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 6 PM on Wednesday at the church. Shawn Watson will be officiating the services. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences to the family may be made at www.stubbsconner.com.
