Archie Begley's Obituary
BEGLEY, Archie age 74 of Waynesville passed away Mon. Aug. 20, 2007 at Quaker Heights in Waynesville. Archie was a Korean War Army Veteran and retired from GM in 1998 after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle for 35 years, greatly enjoyed working and farming, and was an avid UK Wildcats fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Matt and Frankie Begley and two brothers Benny and Louis. He is survived by his wife Betty Lee, married 51 years; three sons Michael (Anita) of Dayton, Steven (Jacqueline) of Oregonia, and Allen (Carrie) Begley of Dayton; daughter Diana Begley of Oregonia; three grandchildren Julia Grace Begley, Laura Elizabeth Begley, Matthew Steven Begley, and Christy Perrin; two brothers Ernest and John; four sisters Marie, Lucille, Judy, and Beatrice; and an aunt Sophie Ballinger. Funeral services 1:00 PM Wed. Aug. 22 at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Waynesville. David Dixon and Tim Noble officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service Wed. at the church. If desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
