Arnold R. Roark's Obituary
ROARK, Arnold Ray, age 78, of Waynesville, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at his residence.
Arnold was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Carpenters Local 104 AF of LCIO Union and attended the Waynesville First Baptist Church. He greatly enjoyed bowling, playing cards, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sheridan and Pearl Roark, two brothers Lowell and Azzo Roark, and his two sisters Naomi and Juanita Roark. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Faye; one son Stephen (Stephanie) Roark; one daughter Sherry (Tim) Hill; seven grandchildren Lindsey Roark, Dustin Roark, Toby Roark, Sam Hanzlik, Andrew (Katie) Hill, John (Brittney) Hill, and Stephen Edgar (Moriah) Hill; six great grandchildren Wyatt, Bryn, Landon, Liza Jo, Raylan, and Lincoln Hill; and one brother J.C. (Christine) Roark.
Funeral service will be 12 PM Fri. March 22 at Waynesville First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. Pastor Roger Dale McCloud will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM on Fri. March 22 at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home is serving the family.
