Arthur Fredric Gill's Obituary
GILL, Arthur Fredric, age 85, of Harveysburg and formerly of Beavercreek, passed away Mon. May 8, 2017 at his residence. He was a 1949 graduate of Greenhills High School and a Korean Conflict Air Force veteran. A retired State Farm Insurance agent, he retired in 2002 after 35 years of service. Prior to State Farm, he worked as a State Highway Patrolman out of Xenia for 8 years. He was a former president and lieutenant governor of the Beavercreek Optimist Club and a member of Xenia American Legion Post 95. He greatly enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Ellamae Gill and two sisters Lois LeBaw and Sandra Harig. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; five children Terri Gill, Patti (Steve) Willis, Mark Gill, Scott Gill, and David (Arlene) Gill; five grandchildren Kevin Rose, Lindsey Gill, Travis Willis, Amanda Gill, and Adam Gill; and two great grandchildren Ayden Gill and Chase Willis. Funeral services Noon Fri. May 12 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Seth Millhoan will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 10 AM - Noon Fri. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
