Arthur Kamentz's Obituary
KAMENTZ, Arthur, age 84, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Traditions of Lebanon.
Arthur received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He honorably served in our United States Air Force. In 2015, he retired from being a programmer analyst for the Office of Information Technology for the State of Kentucky after more than 20 years of service. He was an active member of the New Freedom Church in Lebanon, Ohio.
As a young child, the strong work ethic he developed on the farm as a hired hand continued throughout his life. Later after pursuing his education and skillset, he became a programmer analyst, which became his lifelong occupational focus. He loved God, his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many others. He was a giver; whether family, relatives, or the poor, he was the first to fill any need he saw. He was loved and will be missed by many. A special thank you to the Traditions of Lebanon for their kindness and the wonderful and compassionate care they afforded him. Truly a special place of highly professional and anointed people for this life-giving service to families of those suffering from dementia. We know his home is in heaven by faith in Jesus, and we look forward to seeing him again!
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Magdelena Kamentz, and his adopted parents Emil and Linda Tomtchick. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Levina Ruth; three sons, Trent (Cheri), Kelly (April), and Joel (Jenny); ten grandchildren, Josh, Ben, Sydney, Kelsey, Adair (Evan), Klarysa, KC (Haleigh), Arden, Allegra, and Rio; nine great-grandchildren Caleb, James, Reese, Lona, Ariella, Uriah, Praise, Peace, and Promise; one brother Waldemar “Wally” (Freida) Kamentz; and four sisters Annelee (Tom) Beaumont, Lillie (Brian) O’Connell, Inge (Richard) Burgess, and Lydia (Keith) Bennett.
A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to hearwelldone.org or any gospel-advancing ministry of your choosing to continue Arthur’s legacy of giving. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
