Barbara J. Rigutto's Obituary
RIGUTTO, Barbara J., age 78, of Waynesville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Kettering Health Miamisburg.
Barbara enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought comfort and joy to her everyday life. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, especially trips to Walmart and Kohl’s. She also enjoyed trying new restaurants whenever she had the opportunity. Barbara liked reading magazines, watching talk shows on TV, and spending quiet moments feeding the backyard birds and squirrels.
Barbara was known for her outgoing and friendly personality. In addition, she was caring and very orderly, taking pride in keeping things just the way she liked them. A true people person, she loved talking with others and never met a stranger. Her giving nature and warm spirit made those around her feel welcomed and valued. In her younger years, Barbara enjoyed annual trips to Florida, where she stayed in a condo near the beach—an experience she always cherished. Among many things, Barbara will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of conversation, and the genuine joy she found in connecting with others.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Eleanor Jackson, and her significant other, Ed Brothers. She is survived by her two brothers, Donald Jackson and Rick (Debbie) Jackson.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 7, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Miami Cemetery. Pastor Matt Morgan will be officiating the services.
