Barney Mockabee's Obituary
MOCKABEE, Barney age 55 of Waynesville passed away suddenly Thurs. Jan. 15, 2009, at his residence. Barney was born June 26, 1953, to Tom Sr. and Martha Mockabee in Ridgeville. He owned and operated Mockabee Trucking (formerly Mockabee Oil) for the last 30 years. He was a member of Centerville Christian Fellowship and greatly enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bob. He is survived by his wife Dottie, married 29 years; son Elijah of Waynesville; daughter Emily (Justin) Kratzer of Lebanon; grandson Noah; four brothers David (Martha) of Springboro, Tom Jr. (Carla) of MI, John (Anita) of Springboro, and Chuck Mockabee of Springboro; two sisters Mary (Jerry) Dimler of FL and Carol Bailey of Springboro. Funeral services 11 AM Tues. Jan. 20 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Barry Shafer and Wesley Duff officiating. Burial at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens.
