Beatrice Snead's Obituary
SNEAD, Beatrice R. age 92 of Springboro and formerly of Waynesville passed away suddenly Thurs. Oct. 2, 2008 at her residence. Beatrice was a member of the Springboro United Methodist Church, Springboro Garden Club, Deardoff Senior Center in Franklin, and several other activities. An accomplished pianist, she also enjoyed playing Bridge, swimming, flowers, and spending time at her cottage in Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband David in 1976, father Arley Shank, mother Emma Shank-Schutz, step-father Walter J.H. Schutz, and son-in-law Bill Meyer. She is survived by children Joyce (Patrick) Lowry of Oakwood, Jean Meyer of Bellbrook, Warren (Susan) Snead of Springboro, Debbie (Tim) Galaise of Waynesville, and Kimberly (Kip) Zech of Springboro; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and her brother Walter (Carrie) Schutz of CA. Funeral services 11 AM Mon. Oct. 6 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Dr. Patrick Murray officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
