Aunt Bernice was such a lady . She always had a smile for me when visiting with her. We talked of old times and she would tell me stories of growing up in Centerville and Lytle. My older and very fond memories are that she was such a good cook and loved it. She continued to send my sister and I recipes in the mail up till the last 3 months. I will miss her very very much. We always had a couple of good hearty laughs together. Love you.
For the last 9+ years, My dog, Rosie & I, would visit with Bernice, Leona, Marta & Sue every 2 weeks. We called them “Our Ladies “. I always enjoyed my talks with Bernice. She enjoyed watching the squirrels & birds out her window, we talked about her books, she enjoyed her sports & she loved her magazines. She was a beautiful woman, inside & out! I regret that I couldn’t visit with her in the last 2 months because I was in & out of hospital myself but she was always in my heart & thoughts. I send my condolences to her family. I love her & will miss her so much! ❤️😥❤️
