Betty Lois Lamb's Obituary
LAMB, Betty Lois, age 83, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at her residence.
Betty graduated from White Oak High School in Mowrystown. She attended the Corwin Pentecostal Church. She preferred being outdoors and in nature, and especially enjoyed fishing and boating on Caesar Creek Lake. While at home, she loved working in her vegetable garden and watching the deer that would come into her yard. When she visited the campground, she enjoyed riding on the golf cart with her friend, Karen “Frog.” Among many things, she was most proud of her children, who they were becoming, and her wonderful husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Printess, in 2013; her parents, Desperate and Lethia Cox; one brother, Roy Cox; and two sisters, Mildred Nesbit and Frankie Pointer. She is survived by three sons, Tom (Marcie) Lamb, Scott (Suzi) Lamb, and James (Jenny) Lamb; six grandchildren, Stacia, James Jr., Ashley, Tara, Levi, and Jesse; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Karen) Cox; and three sisters, Darline (Rudy) Taylor, Anna (Jack) Moore, and Norma Jean (Dale) Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 9, at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. Eric Purkey will be officiating. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
