Beulah S. Holt's Obituary
HOLT, Beulah S. passed away peacefully Sun. Jan. 11, 2014 at her daughter's home in Harbour Heights, FL. She was born in Blackwater, VA to Lloyd and Ida Speers. She was the greatest mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her daughter, Jennifer (Ken) Alvey and son, Wendell (Maxine) Holt; grandchildren Keith, David (Christine), Cynthia Alvey, and Shawn Holt; great grandchildren Lauren and Jessica Alvey and Kieli and Shey Holt. She was the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She lived in Genntown approximately 37 years as her husband, Claude, worked for GM. They enjoyed the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge activities, where she was a former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. They also enjoyed spending time with their neighbors and square dancing friends. Beulah's husband, Claude, preceded her in death in July of 2007. Beulah has a sister, Margaret (Rey) Caddell of Lake Placid, FL and a brother, Paul (Glenda) Speers of Blackwater, VA. Funeral services 11 AM Mon. Jan. 19 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Grace Memorial Gardens, Milford. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Sun. at the funeral home.
