Bobby "Marty" Boggs' Obituary
BOGGS, Bobby “Marty,” age 52, of West Carrollton and formerly of Waynesville, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Marty graduated from Waynesville High School. He worked several years at GM and ultimately retired from DMAX in Moraine.
Hardworking, ornery, and funny, Marty was one of a kind and liked to play jokes on people for fun. He greatly enjoyed NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon, OSU football, and the Cincinnati Bengals. During his younger days, he enjoyed working in the yard and history. Over the years, he traveled to several historical areas, including Gettysburg, Washington D.C., Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina, mainly pursuing historical adventures. Among many things, he will be remembered for his love and care of his cats and dogs. One of his favorite companions was his cat, Sylvester. He will also be remembered for his love of Skyline Chili.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Boggs. He is survived by his mother, Patricia “Patty” Boggs; brother, Matthew Boggs; sister, Alicia Boggs; step-mom Faye Boggs; uncles, Jamie Horner and Eugene (Martha) Boggs; and a special niece Savannah.
The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday, January 11 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
