Boyd Lamb's Obituary
LAMB, Boyd, age 83, of Waynesville passed away Wed. Dec. 27, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Boyd retired from GM in 1993 after 32 years of service. He was proud of his work at GM and always looked forward to his next automobile purchase. He was a member of the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Boyd loved people and greatly enjoyed traveling to visit with people and churches throughout Ohio and several surrounding states. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Waynesville Masonic Lodge #163 and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis F. and Mary Louise Lamb; two brothers Earl and Eddie Lamb; and seven sisters Oralene Estes, Marie Isaacs, Bessie Fouch, Louise Brixey, Maxine Lamb, Bernice Lamb, and Stella Preston. He is survived by two brothers Harold (Jean) Lamb and Ray (Freda) Lamb; two sisters Elsie Stephens and Evaline (Lynn) Fairchild; many extended family members; and his special cousin and caregiver, where he lived these past few years, Donna (Ed) Bellman. Funeral services will be 1 PM Sat. Dec. 30 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 4-9 PM Fri. at the church.
