Brenda S. Farley's Obituary
FARLEY, Brenda S. age 64, of Waynesville, passed away Tues. June 6, 2017 at her residence.
Brenda graduated valedictorian of Clinton Massie High School, class of 1971. She was an employee of Software Solutions for more than 18 years. She was a member of the New Freedom Church in Lebanon. Brenda was family oriented with an incredible work ethic in all aspects of her life. She had a passion for the ministries at her church, going to grandkids sporting events, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her family. During Christmas time she was known for having the best scavenger hunts for the grandkids. Her favorite nicknames by the family were “Nascar Driver” or “Tokyo Drift Driver”. Her most memorable traits were her sarcasm, and her accepting and forgiving spirit.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Farley, parents Ralph and Hazel McKinney, and her brother Roger McKinney. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dale; two daughters Missy (Shahne) Stone and Diane (David) Wiederhold; five grandchildren Mahala, Brittany, Dallas, Clay, and Caitlyn; and two brothers Glenn McKinney and Darrell (Kim) McKinney.
Funeral services 11 AM Mon. June 12 at New Freedom Church, Lebanon. Rev. Shahne Stone and Rev. Joe Shutts will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5 PM - 8 PM Sun. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville will be serving the family.
