Bret Aaron Fox's Obituary
FOX, Bret Aaron, age 56, of Seabrook, South Carolina, formerly of Dublin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Bret graduated from Dublin Coffman High School, class of '87. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from The Ohio State University, class of '92. He attended St. John's Island Presbyterian Church. He blended a lifelong love for cycling, working on cars, and collecting watches and knives. Known for his humor and positive energy, Bret was an avid music lover since childhood and naturally brings a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere to everyone around him. He loved animals, especially their dog, Rudy, who was his favorite buddy and companion. A simple man, he was sensitive, thoughtful, and caring. He was witty, funny, and extraordinarily personable. Bret combined old-school chivalry with a selfless desire to see those around him succeed. He was always willing to help others, and in his recent years, he prioritized helping his mom and Rich. Some of Bret's favorite memories centered around time with his family.
Bret was preceded in death by his father, Gerald "Jerry" Fox. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Richard) Frye; two sisters, Kara (Tim) Schumann and Beth (Kyle) Fox-Kobel; one niece, Kortney Wittwer; and two nephews, Timothy Schumann, Jr. and Kincaid Kobel.
