Brian Scott Lewis' Obituary
LEWIS, Brian Scott, age 52, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Brian graduated from Waynesville High School, class of ’88. He drove a truck for multiple companies for over 30 years.
Always willing to share his opinion, Brian had a great sense of humor and was known for tinkering around in his garage and spending time outdoors. Like his father, he greatly enjoyed old cars from back in the day. As a very knowledgeable hard worker, he loved creating intricate pieces of woodwork. His other favorite pastime was his passion for farming and collecting John Deere tractors. Among many things, he will be remembered for the joy he got from spending time with his kids and grandkids and for his well-known whistle.
He was preceded in death by his father Tevis Lewis Jr. in 2014 and his brother Tevis “Buddy” Lewis III. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dana; two sons Jordan (Danielle) Lewis and Austin Lewis; two grandchildren Hunter Monds and Ava Lewis; mother Lauritti Lewis; one brother David Lewis; one sister Deanne Lewis; one niece Alycia Lewis; one nephew Zac Lewis; and one great-niece Nova Lewis.
A private memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
