Carl Elliott's Obituary
Elliott, Carl age 83 of Waynesville passed away Mon. Oct. 9, 2006 at his residence. Born March 15, 1923 to the late Alex and Lydia Johnson in Greenup County, KY. Carl was a WWII Navy veteran and later retired from GM after 35 years. He was a member of the Waynesville First Church of Christ and greatly enjoyed farming and gardening. He was preceded in death by two brothers Bill and Joe Elliott and two sisters Dorothy Hamilton and Margaret Elliott. He is survived by his wife Imogene, married 57 years, one son and daughter-in-law Carl Douglas and Cynthia Elliott of TX, two daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Bill Beckett of Waynesville and Kathie Jo and Ricky Ware of Franklin, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two sisters Eunice Eastham of KY and Louise and her husband Pete Roark of IN. Funeral services 2:00 P.M. Thurs. Oct. 12 at the Waynesville First Church of Christ. Bob Jones will conduct the services. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 12:30-2:00 P.M. Thurs. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
