Catherine "Kate" Hall's Obituary
HALL, Catherine M. age 91 of Oregonia passed away Sun. April 27, 2008 at Lebanon Country Manor. Kate owned and operated Hall’s Market in Oregonia for 44 years. She was a member of the Harveysburg/Oregonia United Methodist Church, OES #343 in Lebanon, Homemakers’ Club, and former member of the Eagles 1395 in Lebanon, Rebecca, and Daughters of America. She greatly enjoyed crocheting, working at the store, and working the polls during elections. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2006, daughter Sylvia Jo Tankersley, son Jon Hall, one grandson Jeffery Dean Hall, three brothers Loran, Harold, and Franklin Clingan, and one sister Viola Snell. She is survived by four grandchildren Mike (Dianne) Tankersley, Rick Tankersley, David (Clarissa) Tankersley, and Rodney (Susan) Hall, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one sister Gladys (Elwood) Metz, special nephew Wallace Clingan, and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11 AM Fri. May 2 at STUBBS-CONNER FUNERAL HOME, Waynesville. Pastor Dennis Judson officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
