PATTON, Cecil J. age 76 of Waynesville passed away Thurs. Dec. 9, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital. Cecil owned and operated Lytle Motors for 15 years. He previously worked for Deniston Olds in Centerville and Stengers Ford in Ketter Read Obituary

Just the other day I watched and prayed Cecil wouldn't fall off a ladder he was climbing in the rain. I wish I hadn't let the rain keep me from walking over and visiting with him that day. We just take for granted that our next breath will come, that our loved ones will always be there, that they surely know just how much we love and appreciate them, until we suffer so great a loss. So my love, prayers and tears are with you all as you say goodbye . . . for now. But I just can't help but imagine that Cecil and my dad are doing something silly and fun up there like hulling walnuts by feeding them under a spinning car wheel that's jacked up off the ground at just the right height and laughing each time the walnut shot out and hit the board behind the wheel like rock. I will cherish the memories.

Our condolences to all of you for your loss. We first met Cecil in July at the time of Katy and Jarod's wedding and enjoyed our conversations with him.
