Charles R. Elam's Obituary
ELAM, Charles R. age 75 of Wilmington and formerly of Clarksville passed away Wed. Feb. 27, 2013 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Charles owned Elam's Furniture in South Lebanon and Hopkinsville Grocery & Carryout in Maineville for over 20 years. He enjoyed raising and riding horses, coon hunting with his dogs, being a landlord, and spending time hosting people. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Evelyn, daughter Kimberley, one granddaughter, and one sister Wilma Jean (Don) Roselle. Funeral services 2 PM Monday, March 4, 2013 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive Noon-2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
