Charles H. Ellison's Obituary
ELLISON, Charles H. age 80 of Waynesville passed away Tues. Jan. 28, 2014 at his residence. A Korean Conflict veteran, Charles graduated from Wilmington College in 1959 and later received a Master's Degree from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY. He was the pastor of New Burlington Friends Church for 15 years, and ministered at other locations for a total of 26 years, most recently Fellowship of Praise in Clarksville. He worked for Wilmington City Schools for nearly 20 years, and he enjoyed being a pastor, calling on people, and making hospital visits. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen; son Charles "Chip" (Lori) Ellison; daughter Holly (Hans) Jeschke; and grandchildren Drew, Zachary, Aaron, and Claire. Memorial service 2 PM Sat. Feb. 1 at Fellowship of Praise, Clarksville. Pastor Matt Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends Noon - 2 PM Sat. at the church.
