Charles Tankersley Jr.'s Obituary
TANKERSLEY, Charles Jr. age 75 of Beavercreek passed away Tues. June 12, 2007 at his residence. Charles graduated from Lebanon High School, was a Korean War Army veteran, and retired from NCR, Dayton Walther, and Kettering City Schools. He had a love for Fords and greatly enjoyed major spectator sports, boating, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Jo (Hall) and his parents Charles Sr. and Mary Tankersley. He is survived by three sons Mike and his wife Dianne of Bellbrook, Jon Richard of West Carrollton, and David Scott and his wife Clarissa Tankersley of Dayton; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother and sister-in-law William and Linda Tankersley of Miamisburg; and mother-in-law Kate Hall of Oregonia. Memorial service 10 AM Sat. June 30 at the Parkview United Methodist Church, Miamisburg. Pastor Brad Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
