Cherry Ann Alvarado's Obituary
KIRKHAM-ALVARADO, Cherry Ann, age 68, of Waynesville, OH and Los Angeles, CA, passed away Fri. Sept. 11, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital. Throughout her life she had careers with writer-producer Norman Lear, Bank of America, and Gilbert Kelly Crowley & Jennett. Cherry greatly enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband David in 2003; two sons Kenneth Dyer and Wesley Dyer; parents Charles Kirkham and Alma Wall; and one brother Charles Kirkham, Jr. She is survived by one son Kevin Dyer; three daughters Julia Dyer-Lopez, Shelia Dyer, and Diana Alvarado; son-in-law Michael Lopez; and 11 grandchildren David Alvarado, Alex Lopez, Jesse Alvarado, Ashley Lopez, Salina Lindsey, Daisha Lindsey, Emily Lopez, Samantha Dyer, Juliana Alvarado, Kaitlyn Lopez, and Savanna Alvarado. A celebration of life gathering will be 2-4 PM Tues. Sept. 15 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville, OH. Additional services will follow in CA with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.
