Chester Hollandsworth's Obituary
HOLLANDSWORTH, Chester, age 62, of Milford, and formerly of Waynesville, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024.
Fun-loving and always busy, Chester was known for his energetic personality. He was an active participant in his residence program and especially enjoyed organized group events. Dances, trips to sporting events, and visiting the Air Force Museum were some of his favorite outings. In quieter moments, he found peace in nature, watching the local birds and squirrels from his window. He had a special love for gospel music, which he enjoyed listening to on his cherished cassette tapes. Along with his music collection, Chester treasured his many stuffed animals, which decorated his room.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Hollandsworth. He is survived by two brothers, Lester Hollandsworth and Roger Hollandsworth; one sister, Betty Hollandsworth; his step-mother, Judy Hollandsworth; and three step-brothers, Shawn (Katrina) Turner, Steven (Sheila) Turner, and Kevin (Misty) Turner.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00 PM. Pastor Michael Rolland will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
