Chester Taylor's Obituary
TAYLOR, Chester age 85 of Miamisburg passed away Fri. Oct. 23, 2009 in Springfield. Chester was born May 19, 1924. He was a WWII Army veteran, having served in the European, African, and Middle Eastern Campaign. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen five months ago, his father Shelby, mother Della (Smith), two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by seven children and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He also had special step children. He loved to sit around, and talk about his occupation as a truck driver of 36 years. He liked to cut up and kid. Funeral services 2 PM Tues. Oct. 27 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tues. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
