Chloe Morris' Obituary
MORRIS, Chloe, age 101, of Wilmington, passed away Fri., Sept. 27, 2019 at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.
Chloe retired from Greene Memorial Hospital in the early ’80’s after 18 years of service. She has been a faithful member of Jonah’s Run Baptist Church near Harveysburg since 1940.
Liked by all who knew her, Chloe had a deep faith in God and will be remembered for her caring personality and for being a great mother to her son. She greatly enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, and church activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson, in 1978; her parents Frank and Delta Spurlock; six brothers Estel, Mendle, Arvel, Earl, Frank Jr., and Roy Spurlock; and two sisters Hazel Evans and Bonnie Spurlock. She is survived by one son Donald J. (Connie Ann) Morris; one brother Troy Spurlock; and one sister Barbara Jean Lindon.
Funeral services will be held 12 PM Wed., Oct. 2 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in New Burlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wed. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley and/or Ohio Living Quaker Heights.
