Christine Atkins' Obituary
ATKINS, Christine, age 86, of Waynesville, passed away Tues. July 3, 2018 at Hillspring of Springboro.
Christine was a graduate of Sandy Hook High School in KY, class of ’50, and later attended Ohio State University. She was a member of the Ferry Church of Christ in Waynesville. A good friend to all, she will be remembered for her cooking and baking, especially her delicious pies. She greatly enjoyed working on puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, in 2002; one grandson Brian; three brothers Earnest, Arnold, and Wendal; and three sisters Beulah, Bea, and Bert. She is survived by two sons Chris (Sheila) Atkins and Greg (Tina) Atkins; eight grandchildren Michelle, Nicholas, Amanda, William, Joseph, David, Andrew, and Thomas; four great grandchildren Tristen, Myah, Eric, and David; and many loving nieces and nephews, including Kimberly Adkisson who visited her often.
Funeral service will be 12 PM Mon. July 9 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 10 AM - 12 PM Mon. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
