HAWKINS, Christine E. age 47 of Waynesville passed away Sat. Jan. 13, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. She graduated from Waynesville High School class of ’77 and later received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University and a Master’s degree from Antioch College. She was a devoted member and the Director of Religious Education at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Waynesville. She was preceded in death by her father Mark Shelton. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey, married 26 years; son Seth; mother Wanda and step-dad Paul Hemmelgarn of KY; five sisters and brothers-in-law Kelly Shelton of GA, Tracy and Armando Alfaro of NC, Leslie and Greg Hiatt of MI, Lisa and David Burgess of WV, and April and Brian Bury of MI; and three sisters-in-law Jennifer Brown, Jacqueline Hawkins, and Gail Hawke. Memorial Mass 11 A.M. Tues. Jan. 16 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Waynesville. Father Raymond Kammerer Celebrant. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
