Clarence Amburgy's Obituary
AMBURGY, Clarence age 91, of Waynesville, passed away Wed. Aug. 24, 2016 at Quaker Heights Care Community. He was an Army veteran. Clarence retired from GM after more than 30 years of service. He greatly enjoyed tractors and farm life, he loved anything to do with farming and the equipment, and was the happiest when working on the farm. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Callie Amburgy; four brothers Cortis, Charlie, Elmo, and Regan Amburgy; and three sisters Lena Brandenburg, Stella Cooper, and Ruby Moore. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn; two daughters Patricia Amburgy (John Kocet) and Peggy Lynch; one son Jeff Amburgy; step son Bill Durham; four grandchildren Kimberly, Jason, Bill, and Brett; 11 great grandchildren Ashley, Karynne, Cole, Stephanie, Christopher, Sean, Caitlin, Leah, Nicholi, Lonnie, and Kiersten; one great great granddaughter Annie; and three sisters Ruth Kroner, Nancy (Arvy) Scott, and Betty (Everett) Lamb. Funeral services 2 PM Mon. Aug. 29 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Wendell Amburgy will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
