Clark Nelson's Obituary
NELSON, Clark J. age 76 of Waynesville passed away Fri. May 26, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. Clark was born Dec. 31, 1929 to Charles and Mary Nelson in Spring Gap, WV. He was a Korean Conflict Air Force veteran and retired from the Bendix Corp. He was a member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615 and greatly enjoyed golf and fishing. He was preceded in death by one son David Scott Nelson; five brothers Loyd, George, Losee, Willard, and Howard Nelson; and two sisters Cora Montgomery and Cleo Rannells. He is survived by his wife Ann; three sons Larry and his wife Yvonne of Waynesville, Mark Nelson of Waynesville, and Michael and his wife Nancy Nelson of Spring Valley; daughter Jennifer and her husband Rick Dearholt of TN; 11 grandchildren Ryan, Andrea, Tyler, Abigail, Elyse, Misty, Anna, Sarah, Katie, Lee, and Stratton; great grandson Landon; two brothers Hap Nelson of WV and Lehman and his wife Bernice Nelson of WV; one sister Madeline and her husband Warren Parr of WV; sister-in-law Betty Nelson of WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Wed. May 31 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Waynesville. Father Raymond Kammerer celebrant. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Tues. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. If desired, contributions may be made to the Waynesville American Legion Post 615.
