Curtis L. Mullins' Obituary
MULLINS, Curtis L, age 81, of Centerville and formerly of Kentucky, passed away Sun., Dec. 1, 2019 at his residence.
Curtis retired 1990 after 20 years of owning and operating Bellbrook Contruction, which evolved from Curt Mullins Garage Builders.
Curt was gentle, kind, unpretentious, giving, hard working, and dearly loved by everyone. While he could be ornery in a fun way, and he certain lit up a room, he was a family man and an excellent husband, father, and grandfather. He greatly enjoyed UK basketball, hunting with friends and family, and cattle farming in Kentucky. For a time, he also enjoyed showing horses under the name Mullins Appolassas. Among many things, he will be remembered for being a southern gentleman, for being a respected, determined, and an honest business man, and an excellent provider for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Porter and Hilda Mullins and one brother Steve Mullins. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Deborah; two daughters Penny S. (Don) Wiley and Jennifer G. (Monica) Mullins; two sons Benjamin Phillips and Brian Phillips; five grandchildren Aubrie, Holly, Cayden, Rian, and Ben; one brother Mike Mullins; and two sisters Viola Weidner and Sue Chapman.
Funeral services will be held 12 PM Sat., Dec. 7 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY. The family will receive friends 10 AM - 12 PM Sat. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
