Dale McKinley Murphy's Obituary
MURPHY, Dale McKinley, age 78, of Springboro, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
Dale graduated from Hazel Green High School in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, class of ’65. He retired from GM after 30 years of service. He was also a member of the Anchor of Hope Church in Lebanon and greatly enjoyed being able to help serve others through the church.
One of his favorite places to visit on vacation was Florida, he loved being on the beach and listening to the waves crash along the beach line. He would routinely go to the local YMCA and participate in different classes. Among many things, he will be remembered for having a special restaurant to go to for each day of the week.
He was preceded in death by his parents McKinley and Ella Mae Murphy; and three sisters Imogene “Jean” Lamb, Nora Nelson, and Edith Lewis. He is survived by his brother Sylvester Fields and four sisters Sandra Hadley, Freda (Fred) Mocahbe, Pauline Miller, and Geneva Moffat.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, December 15 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Pastor EJ Lamb will be officiating.
