When I think of your Dad Sheila, I remember his smile and joking nature. I can still remember how he joked with us when I would come over. (I also remember watching him decapitate one of the chickens your family had. 🙂- it was fascinating). May God give you and your family comfort during this time. A funny story involving Danny. We were involved in the renovation of a large mansion in North Dayton that was part of a remodeler showcase back in the late 1990s. The home was located on a gated driveway, however we had lots of problems with theft. Danny volunteered to handle overnight security at that location for almost a month. Danny had a white Ford pickup truck, and he used a couple rolls of blue duct tape in made two stripes down the side and then covered a flower pot with blue duct tape and taped it on the top of his truck... The idea being that from a distance through the gates down the driveway it would look like a Dayton police vehicle. It worked! Nobody bothered Danny or the house the entire time he was there. It took us more than a month to remove all of the adhesive off of his truck after it was all over with.
