Danny A. Stern's Obituary
STERN, Danny A., age 49, of Harveysburg, passed away Fri. March 9, 2018 at Sycamore Hospital.
Danny was a 1988 graduate of Clinton Massie High School. He worked for Kings Local Schools as a bus driver for a while, but for the past 12 years, he worked at Fellowship of Praise in Clarksville. While working at Fellowship of Praise, he became highly respected for all of the different tasks he completed around the church on a weekly basis. Over the years, he also performed critical maintenance for Massie Township, assisted with the Building and Street Commission in Harveysburg, and worked at the Wilmington auctions.
Danny was a larger than life man who will be remembered for his funny wit and for his love of people, especially his wife and kids. He was heavily involved with Clinton Massie athletics. He volunteered at the school in a multitude of ways, including the filming of basketball games, concessions, coaching, etc. He also enjoyed parking cars at the Renaissance Festival in Harveysburg over the years.
He was preceded in death by his mother June Bryant. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Debby; daughter Megan McCann; son Cameron Stern; his father Danny (Donna) Stern; two sisters April Bryant and Mindy (Rocky) Burnell; step dad Yorkie Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services 2 PM Sat. March 17 at Fellowship of Praise Church, 8625 US-22, Clarksville, OH. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 2 PM Sat. at Fellowship of Praise.
